Privacy Policy
Last updated June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Finanxe ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit finanxe.co (the "Site") or join our waitlist. Finanxe is a pre-launch finance news and education product. By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you provide
When you join the waitlist or contact us, you choose what to share. We only collect what you enter:
- Email address (required), so we can contact you about early access.
- Name (optional), so we can address you personally.
- Phone number (optional), only if you want SMS alerts. We never share it.
- Your investing experience and interests (optional), so we can tailor what we build.
- Anything you include if you email or message us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the Site secure and reliable.
Information from third parties
We do not currently receive personal information about you from other companies. If we later add features such as social or third-party sign-in, we will update this policy to describe what we receive and why.
Cookies and similar technologies
We keep this Site light on tracking. We store a single preference in your browser's local storage to remember your light or dark theme. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
Because we do not track you across other websites, we do not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or trackers such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel. If we add any in the future, we will list them here, explain what they collect, and, where required, show a cookie consent banner before any non-essential tracking runs.
How we use your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
- To tell you when Finanxe launches and to offer early access.
- To send the alerts you opt in to, by email or SMS.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To understand what early users care about so we can improve the product.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
Artificial intelligence
Finanxe uses artificial intelligence to generate news summaries and takeaways. We do not use your personal information (such as your email, name, or phone number) to train AI models, and we do not sell it. AI-generated content can be imperfect and is not financial advice.
We do not make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and explain your rights.
Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information under one or more of these legal bases: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests in operating and improving Finanxe, and compliance with our legal obligations.
How we share your information
We share information only as described below, and we never sell it:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, currently our hosting platform (Vercel) and our database provider (Supabase), and, once launched, our email and SMS delivery providers.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law (for example, in response to a subpoena or court order) or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers, if Finanxe is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will notify you of any change in how your information is handled.
How long we keep your information
We keep your waitlist information until Finanxe launches and you become a user, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We may keep limited records longer where required for legal or security reasons.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), rate limiting, input validation, and restricting who can access the data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy in a portable format, and opt out of marketing messages.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@finanxe.co. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and you will not be treated differently for exercising your rights.
California privacy rights (CCPA and CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect (identifiers such as your name, email, and phone number, and preferences such as your investing experience and interests), to request that we delete it, and to correct it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email support@finanxe.co.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question or complaint about your privacy, email support@finanxe.co and we will work with you to resolve it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and are not satisfied with our response, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International data transfers
Finanxe is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
Children's privacy
Finanxe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email support@finanxe.co and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Marketing communications
If you join the waitlist, you agree to receive emails about Finanxe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. If you opt in to SMS alerts, you can stop them at any time by replying STOP.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Finanxe evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice, such as an email or a banner on the Site.
